Overflight is a flight-planning, mapping, visualization, and custom-content creation tool. It is designed to assist pilots in creating and reviewing aviation map overlays, routes, terrain information, waypoints, imported data, and other planning content.

Overflight is not an FAA-approved navigation system and must not be used as the sole source of information for navigation, terrain or obstacle avoidance, weather avoidance, instrument procedures, regulatory compliance, or aircraft separation.

Information displayed or created within Overflight may contain errors, omissions, inaccuracies, outdated information, positioning discrepancies, processing errors, or differences from official source data. This includes, but is not limited to:

FAA charts, airports, airspace, obstacles, and procedures
Terrain and satellite imagery
GNSS and satellite-geometry information
User-created or imported routes, waypoints, polygons, and overlays
Georeferenced documents and imagery
Third-party, public, or government-sourced datasets
Exported KML, KMZ, GPX, FPL, Content Pack, or other navigation data

Always verify information using current official aviation publications, approved navigation equipment, NOTAMs, weather information, aircraft documentation, and all other sources required for the flight being conducted.

The pilot in command remains solely responsible for determining whether a flight can be conducted safely and legally and for verifying the accuracy, suitability, and currency of any information used for flight planning or navigation.

Overflight does not replace sound aeronautical decision making, visual observation, approved avionics, or compliance with applicable regulations and operating procedures.
